TRIP: Los Guidos, San Jose, Costa Rica

​THE TRIP: Focusing on the Los Guidos region and the amazing pastors and churches there!

I am incredibly excited to share that in January 2025, I will be heading back to San José, Costa Rica, for ten days of ministry! This trip is especially significant as I will have the honor of hosting my first pastoral conference in the region. I look forward to equipping and encouraging local pastors as we partner together to advance the gospel in their communities.

My journey with San José began in July 2024, when I had the privilege of traveling with about 25 passionate missionaries to this vibrant capital city. During that trip, we collaborated with several churches to host a Night of Hope Crusade, where we witnessed hundreds of people commit their lives to Jesus Christ! It was truly a time of celebration and transformation.

One of the most rewarding aspects of that crusade was connecting new believers to local churches in their area, where discipleship and growth take place. Seeing these individuals begin their faith journeys in a supportive community was an incredible blessing.

 While in San José in July, I also had the honor of meeting several dedicated pastors and building strong relationships that continue to grow to this day. These leaders have such a deep love for their churches and their city, and it has been a joy to stay in constant communication with them, sharing ideas, encouragement, and prayers for their ministries.

 I am thrilled to continue this partnership. In addition to hosting the pastoral conference, I will also have the opportunity to preach in two churches and meet daily with different pastors to strengthen these relationships and collaborate on ways to share the love of Christ with even more people.

I feel humbled and grateful for the chance to return to San José and be a small part of what God is doing there. RECAP ON TRIP
God opened incredible doors for ministry on my impactful 10 day trip to San José, Costa Rica. I was there from January 10th through the 20th. I was blessed to partner with my host and dear friend, Pastor Luis Castro of M.S.I., who graciously coordinated many opportunities to share the Word and connect with the body of Christ in the region.

During my time there, I had the privilege of speaking in several churches, including a prominent mega-church. These gatherings ranged from intimate sessions with church leaders to services with entire congregations. Seeing the hunger for God’s Word and the passion to grow in faith was humbling.

One unexpected highlight was meeting a well-known evangelist in Costa Rica. He invited me to share on his radio program, a platform that reaches thousands of listeners in Costa Rica, Honduras, and the United States. It was a unique opportunity to speak encouragement and share the message of hope to a wider audience.

Another significant moment came when I had lunch with the president of the Evangelical Alliance of Costa Rican Churches, a network of over 4,000 congregations. Our conversation focused on the state of the Costa Rican church and explored how my ministry could serve as a resource and partner in advancing the Kingdom of God. It was a meaningful dialogue filled with potential for future collaboration.

I also had the privilege of visiting the San José Bible Society, where I saw the very first Bible to enter Costa Rica—a powerful reminder of the transformative power of God’s Word in this nation. Over coffee with the executive director, we discussed the role of Scripture in equipping local churches and deepening discipleship.

To continue building these relationships, I will be hosting monthly WhatsApp video conferences with the pastors and leaders I connected with during this trip. These virtual meetings will provide a space for ongoing mentorship, encouragement, and collaboration as we work together to advance the Kingdom of God in Costa Rica.

This trip was a reminder of how God is actively working in Costa Rica. Through connections with pastors, leaders, and key ministry partners, we are laying the groundwork for long-term impact. Please continue to pray for the seeds planted during this journey and for God’s guidance in the opportunities ahead.
